Mississippi wins Health & Rehab Award
The Swinging washbasin that allows disabled to wash hands AT the toilet wins "News of the year 2010" at Health & Rehab Exhibition.
The basin swings to the toilet, improving hygiene significantly. It can be moved to the user, who does not have to move himself, soiling the wheelchair. The basin is made of PUR, a soft and isolating material that rejects dirt and bacteria. The elliptical shape makes the basin useable from 3 sides, and the edges form a safe grip. The helper can easily help move the disabled, as the basin moves aside. The flexible basin allows for better functionality in smaller spaces than previously.
